Jake Ineck, a Boise native and winner of the 2007 Northwest Guitar Festival, is recognized for his musical intuition and versatility. He holds a Masters degree in guitar performance from Arizona State University and has been adjunct professor of classical guitar at ASU and Boise State University.
Currently a music director at a Catholic Church in Meridian, Jake maintains an active performance schedule at several local restaurants and breweries as a solo act as well as with the progressive rock trio Subtle Force.
Equally comfortable in diverse musical styles and settings as vocalist, guitarist, and bassist, Jake loves to breathe new life into any song, making every live music setting a fresh and unique experience.

My husband and I hired Jake’s band to play for our wedding reception. They were more than willing to work with us in every aspect from budget to song choices. Speaking of song choices, no matter what the song was the band would learn it for us. They learned the Chicken Dance song for my Father Daughter dance, and they even improvised the hokey pokey tastefully into another song for my husband. It was amazing! Everyone enjoyed themselves. All through the reception I was receiving rave reviews about the band and I still today get comments about how great they were. Not only are they amazingly talented musicians, but they are flexible, have an extensive music selection, and aim to satisfy. My husband and I were able to pick any song we wanted for our first dance and the group learned it. In addition, they were able to MC the reception giving introductions and directing attention to key events. What was also nice was their jazz section during the dining portion and then lively music for dancing. The contrast of softer to more party music gave the evening time for conversation and then entertainment.
